Mission Australia is commited to eliminating disadvantage and creating a fairer Australia. Through our programs and services, we combat homelessness, assist families to develop a safe, nurturing environment for their children, support disadvantaged young people, deliver entry level training and help unemployed people find permanent work.
Liverpool Family Day Care is a licensed and accredited service sponsored by Mission Australia, offering flexibility of days and hours for children aged from birth to 12 years in a home child care environment.
The Co-Ordination Unit employs qualified staff to recruit, train and support carers. Staff provide regular monitoring and support for all carers through:
Regular support visits to the carer's home
Playgroup sessions at the co-ordination unit premises
Training on child care practices and accepted community practice
Ongoing support and regular contact
Liverpool Family Day Care provides children n with the opportunity to learn and play in a small group and stimulating home environment.
