Mission Australia's Miller Community Preschool
Miller Community Pre-School provides an inclusive educational program in a caring and supportive environment for children from 3 to 5 years of age. Each child is unique and Mission Australia staff treat each child as an individual who will develop at their own pace. In order to enhance children’s learning opportunities Miller Community Pre-school provides:
a high staff to child ratio and a team of early childhood professionals who are University or TAFE trained;
individual play based programs which provide each child with activities designed to interest, challenge and engage;
a curriculum that reflects the interests and strengths of each child across all developmental areas and includes the introduction of technology through access to computers with age appropriate software;
an environment rich in diversity where positive relationships are developed and a sense of belonging is achieved;
commitment to successful inclusion through the provision of supported pre-school placements for children with additional needs; and
a comprehensive transition to school program.
